School social work

Children and young people can turn to the school social worker at their school with any concerns they may have, large or small. Together we develop solutions and look for suitable support options. In various offers, the pupils learn how to act in a fair and respectful manner.
The school social worker can also offer parents advice and support with questions and problems in the school or family area.
In regular exchange with the educators of the school, needs-based offers are created and implemented.

School social work offers the following options:

• Advice for students (support for school, social, family and other problems)
• Advice for parents (support for school problems, educational issues and other socio-educational topics)
• Advice to teachers and educators (support in solving conflict situations and advice in areas relevant to social education)
• Socio-educational group work
• Implementation of project days in individual classes
• Implementation of thematic offers within the project weeks
• Initiation of thematic discussions with parents
• Open work with children and young people, e.g. B. in the form of a regular offer in the afternoon
• Networking and public relations in the community
