Supervised individual living

The individual form of living for young people between the ages of 16 and 18

With the socio-pedagogically assisted living, we offer an individual form of help and living for young people between the ages of 16 and 18. The legal basis for this is provided by §34 in SGB VIII (other supervised housing).

With the socio-pedagogically assisted living, the adolescent receives the necessary support for independent living. A suitable apartment is rented either by the parents or by the association. Practically every day and based on personal help and support needs, we work together on the following topics, among others:

  • successful housekeeping and daily structure,
  • successful school or apprenticeship,
  • promising professional perspective and application,
  • respectful treatment of the family of origin and one's own biography,
  • Make contacts with other people safe,
  • recognize and activate own resources.

A prerequisite for living in your first “own apartment” is an already well-developed degree of independence and personal responsibility. The individual goals of the help are laid down in a help plan with the youth welfare office.
