Parenting course for children
A course for parents with children from 0 to 10 years
Understanding children is often not easy. Their world seems to work differently from that of adults. What do you need to grow well? And what does this mean for parents in everyday family life? Experience shows that parents often want specific advice on raising and accompanying their children. How does it make my child listen to me? When can I be compliant and generous and when should I not? How can I better recognize what my child needs? Which place may my own needs have? And what can I do if I run out of strength and ideas in difficult situations?
With topics such as:
- Needs of children and adults
- Orientation and reliability
- Anger, aggression and fears in children
we provide reliable information and suggestions for parents in the course. Because every family is special, Kinder FAIRestand is based on the everyday life of the participating parents. The course provides impulses with which mothers and fathers can build on their strengths and develop further resources. There is space for your own questions and ideas as well as for a relieving exchange with other parents. We look forward to you.
Participation in the parents' course is only possible after registration and a preliminary discussion.
Families between two cultures - a course for parents with migration experience (Arabic)
This parenting course is offered in the mother tongue of Arabic. It was specially developed for refugees and migrants and is carried out by an Arabic-speaking social worker. In the course, the parents learn to better understand what expectations are placed on them in German society and how they can make their relationship with their children richer. The family learns to cultivate their relationships with each other in a peaceful way so that they can
can experience joy together. This enables parents to develop new ideas for parenting between two cultures.
The course is divided into 4 modules of 2 hours each, which are individually designed weekly.
The following topics are covered:
1. Violence in the family, dealing with acute conflicts, divorce and separation, dealing constructively with problems
2. Values and goals in education, lovingly setting limits, choices / consequences, education between the two cultures
3. Everyday structures, framework conditions, dealing with media / life in Germany, change from large to small families,
4. Information, authorities, school, health, development in children, knowledge of trauma effects in children (bedwetting, nightmares etc.)
