During an international youth exchange, the second of a total of three planned mosaics was created in the Socio-Cultural Center Budde-Haus in Leizpig-Gohlis. The new mosaic on the theme "In the forest" can now be seen next to the first mosaic "Sea" in the entrance area of ​​the Budde house.

The mosaic artist Jana Beerhold once again contributed her experience and guided the 10 participating young people in their work. The young people came from Greece, Finland, Portugal and Spain, five participants were trainees from the Leipzig Vocational Training Center for the Hearing and Speech Impaired gGmbH and a young refugee from the Ukraine.

The project was again supported this year by the EU exchange projects of the FAIRbund e. V. and the Budde-Haus in cooperation with the BBW Leipzig Group and supported by the Saxony State Directorate and the European Solidarity Corps. The last part of the mosaic gallery is to be built next year.
