As part of a European exchange project, the first of three parts of a mosaic gallery was created in the entrance area of ​​the Socio-Cultural Center Budde-Haus. Under the guidance of the Leipzig mosaic artist Jan Beerhold 10 young people designed the mosaic. Four young people came from Italy and France, six young people were trainees at the Leipzig vocational training center for the hearing and speech impaired gGmbH.
The project was supported by the EU exchange projects of the FAIRbund e. V. and the Budde house in cooperation with the BBW Leipzig Group organized and by the German Organization for Mosaic Art e. V. (DOMO) and the European Solidarity Corps unterstützt.

The other parts of the mosaic gallery are to be built over the next two years.
